Testimonials

We were introduced to Ed Rowley and Associates because he designed (in 1992) the house my wife and I purchased last year on St Simons Island. We were planning some major renovations and thought it would be advantageous to have the original architect draw up our new plans. From the initial contact Ed proved to be most helpful, professional, direct and honest His technical expertise and local knowledge was invaluable in helping us navigate the entire process – from walk-through, surveys, drawings, to even offering to assist with various local approvals (HOA’s, etc.). Most of all, we appreciated, and benefited from, Ed’s unique ability to translate our dream into a practical reality – the final plans. We look forward to working with Ed and his staff to the conclusion of our project. In the meantime, we would highly recommend Ed’s services.

Ed was a delight to work with. He took the concept plan my wife gave him on a napkin and made it into house plans. His knowledge of computer aided design made our home project easy to make changes and thus held down costs. His technical knowledge of building was helpful to the builder and also saved money. Years later Ed designed a trophy room addition for me that is the most beautiful, functional room in the house. When guests walk in the room, they all gasp at the beauty. He is pleasant to work with as he is always joyful and eager to please. I highly recommend him and will use him again should I ever build again.

Ed Rowley and his team designed a gut renovation and addition to our 1951 ranch house on Sea Island. I would highly recommend the services of Rowley and Associates–professional, reasonably priced and highly skilled.

About

Ed Rowley

Ed graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1980 with a BS in Architecture. With family ties to St. Simons Island dating all the way back to the colonial days of Fort Frederica, he knew that St. Simons would be the perfect place to open his own practice. Since moving here in 1984, Ed has upheld his high standards of design for architectural services throughout Glynn County and the surrounding area.

Ed has two grown daughters, Anna and Jordan. In his free time, he and his wife Toni enjoy riding their bicycles beneath the Spanish moss of St. Simons and playing with their dogs, Mr. Conrad and Tilly.
